UK experiences coolest summer since 2015

The UK has had its coolest summer since 2015, according to provisional Met Office statistics.

Looks like summer 2024 temperature would have been pretty much an average summer in the 1990s

Thanks for sharing. Might have been useful to see this context higher than para 9. It reflects the problem with average being defined as '91-'20, that you can say it's a cool summer, when it's in fact historically warm
