I’m a non driver, but I’ve wondered for years how we’ve got to a point where there’s a giant touch screen TV in the front of all cars and this is deemed totally fine.

I am a driver (also rider of powered & unpowered bikes) and have wondered exactly the same thing! (to be fair, have also been dismayed at how awful some real-button controls are)

Thank goodness someone finally noticed. It's become completely mad, all these extras. It's almost impossible to buy just a car anymore (too).
