There were 2 low over Keyhaven village a couple of weeks ago. Previously they seemed to dwindle out south of the M27/A31, so it'll be interesting to see if the coast and New Forest are colonised now.

I think breeding remains unproven within the Forest proper, but outskirts of the New Forest seem to be holding them. They don’t seem keen on utilising the Inclosures, possibly as a result of open access. Shelter belts & copses on arable land W & N of the Forest seem more appealing to them.
