Keeping you cat inside is not only good for the environment but also for the cat. Outdoor cats die so much earlier than indoor ones, and they also contribute to growing the stray population. I don’t understand why people consider a domestic animal apt to be roaming free in cities and in the wild.

Ours turned 16 years old. Was barely sick and went outdoors every day and night. But we lived very rural with no bigger predator around than a fox. But in cities or places with a lot of traffic I would consider that. Or wouldn't own a cat at all.
