The new Teeth of the Sea LP was delivered on Monday, unfortunately we were in Florence untill tonight. It was left in the "safe space", seemingly protected by snails. Record seems OK.
The writers of "The Walking dead' obviously got their idea for the mindless zombie horde from watching large tourist groups.
I'm in a restaurant in Florence and I've just heard an American ask the server what Lasagne was. WTF.
I've been really looking forward to NZ stoner/sludge doom band, Beastwars releasing their LP of cover versions of NZ tracks, including Children's Hour 1983 post-punk classic 'Looking for the sun', but it's got nothing on the original. music.youtube.com/watch?v=W9Hy...
Walking out of a narrow side road into the Plazzo Arcivescavado and being hit in the face with a first sight of Pisa's famous Leaning Tower was a proper heart-in-the-mouth wow thrill. Though I think the first thing I said to E was "It's not as tall as I expected". It's fucking magic though.
Silhouette on the wall of the Camposanto in Pisa yesterday. Today it's pissing down and there are no longer any silhouettes.
