Canlag's just me being lazy with Canada x Greylag hybrid, which is fairly regular in ones and twos with the big feral goose flocks in autumn. Egyptian Geese are still fairly scarce but definitely increasing and now breeding n the county

Yep, and Canlag is the perfect name for such a strange crossed beastie. Odd, as it's not as if there's a shortage of either, as regards mate preference. Quite a bit of breeding success with Egyptians in our neck of the woods - Leeds Castle has had several.
