What on Earth is Hoop cooking that requires such an ungodly amount of fresh chilies?

I can't stop laughing at this. My grandma accidently did this to my little brother when we were kids. She was canning chilies and he ran through the kitchen. He had stuff on his face. She tried to wipe it off him and he ended up with chilies in his eyes.
