Much like Nidoqueen, the final evolution of this line drops most semblance of rabbits in lieu of large, kaiju-like monsters. It looks more monstrous while having elements of rhino and porcupine. It does retain its rabbit origins in its ears and the moon rabbit theming of using a moon stone.

While Nidoqueen doesn't share Nidokings colors when it comes to their shiny form, shiny Nidoking captures the solid blue of Nidoqueen's palette. They even get similar brown shades for the inner ear as well. They only lack the cream color that she has, opting for an off-white torso and belly.
