"Texas has sued to block federal rules that prohibit investigators from viewing the medical records of women who travel out of state to seek abortions where the procedure is legal." www.nytimes.com/2024/09/06/u...
The lawsuit takes aim at federal privacy rules, including one enacted this year that Ken Paxton, the state attorney general, called “a backdoor attempt at weakening Texas’ laws.”
Texas Taliban.
They are putting more work into tracking women traveling to other states for potential abortions then they ever have tracking men traveling to other countries to molest children.
Fuck them conservatives and bible belt idiots!
Texas better worry about their electrical grid etc.
Medical privacy is based on the precedent that the 14th amendment guarantees a right to privacy. If this case goes bad, it doesn’t just affect pregnant people.
If this current outage fails, Texas is going to try to make it illegal for women to move out of the state.
We should be calling Texas Gilead. There’s virtually no difference and they’re ensuring they move closer to being Gilead daily.
In a just wold the people of texas would have delt with this prick already.
He needs to be voted out ASAP. He also needs a hobby.
