Oh yeah, texture can be a total turn off for some foods even if you like the taste. You can always try preparing certain foods in different ways to see what you like more.

This is coconut for me, to the point where the taste now automatically associates with the texture so that even like pureed, non-crunchy coconut still makes me 👎 Weirdoy coconut milk does not, fortunately

It took, again, until my 40s, to learn that mushrooms are delicious, actually. Took until my 30s to get the hang of onions. I'm never getting there on tomatoes. That ship has sailed. 😆
