So like, I’m a Jew in America and I grew up in a place without a whole lot of other Jews, and I’m going to try to analogize here: giving your kids presents from Santa on Christmas is fine even if you’re not Christian. Mimicking Communion is not. this is much more like the second one.

Unfortunately that metaphor isn't likely to really reach the ONE group that engages in this kind of cultural appropriation the most (in my experience, New Apostolic Reformation Christian Nationalists; NAR types typically use Communion as an excuse to collect "love offerings" and ex-Catholics) 1/x

As someone without much knowledge of how Judaism is practiced, and without reading any other Jewish reactions to it, this seems to sit somewhere between cultural appropriation (on the less yikes end) and flat out sacrilege. Neither of those poles is anything like support.
