The way I need to physically stop myself from infodumping after reading this. I, also, hate to give into meta, which is why it took so long for me to beat the game. In short: Keep your hands small, multiplication over addition, destroy your cards(!) and, lastly, skipping blinds is underrated
I always feel weird about destroying my cards because it feels like you destroy too few at a time. Like I'm killing flush and straight chances unless I'm actively adding cards on the other end.
Your thread has proven so invaluable to me, I can’t wait to change the way I play! Thank you!!
I was impressed by how the higher difficulty levels coax you into doing more skipping Blinds, because once you’ve done the “could I make this $ through playing the Blind?” calculation, all of a sudden a whole new strategic angle opens up
Also! Someone has to say it: Planet cards are not that good! A lot of streams I watched, people get enticed by planet packs, but the scaling is all over the place, so unless you focus on ONE played hand and you had the Telescope Voucher, don't waste your money and take Tarot/Spectral instead.
I wouldnt mind if you infodumped about this
skipping blinds seems bonkers to me lol, defend skipping blinds
