Treating disabled people as business decisions strips away their humanity. Disabled people deserve to be valued for their humanity, not their economic output. Human dignity should always come first. #WeAreBillionStrong#AXSChat#SDGs#DisabilityInclusion#a11y#Accessibility#HumanRights

People think staying home is some kind of luxury, but they don’t realize the constant frustration of being stuck. Needing help for basic things, being too exhausted to move — it’s not a vacation, it’s survival. #Disability#HumanRights

Disability is a vast and varied human experience. It's as diverse as humanity itself — spanning visible and invisible, temporary and lifelong, intersecting with every other part of our identity. There is no single way to ‘look’ or ‘be’ disabled.

There’s no right way to be disabled. The idea that someone has to “look” disabled or meet certain criteria to be taken seriously is harmful and limiting. Disability comes in countless forms, and every person’s story is different. #Disability#HumanRights#SDGs#Ableism

A person with disability is a person who adapts, improvises, and overcomes the barriers life places in their way. For that—not because of our disability—we deserve respect. This is what defines Disability Pride, not the pity you offer to make yourself feel important. #Disability#Ableism

When we wait for access to be requested, we’re reacting rather than planning. We’re excluding people until they speak up, and even then, the response is often slow or insufficient. Proactive inclusion creates a more welcoming and equitable world for all. #Accessibility#Disability#Ableism
