There is no central Bluesky algorithm, YOU have full control of what you're seeing. The key to refining your algorithm is following a LOT of people. Here's some specialty starter packs: FM: go.bsky.app/BjoUmzAgo.bsky.app/424m1w9go.bsky.app/Ch8iwWCgo.bsky.app/3Cnb8LL
I've been on BlueSky for close to a year now, and this is the first time I've heard of labels! Thank you very much for sharing this, I'm looking forward to making labels for other communities I'm part of.
Ok, now let's talk about something you may not heard of yet... LABELS! You can moderate your network by attaching labels/badges on users, this is done with Labelers. Working with @wcima.bsky.social@labels.medsky.social, which gives people badges based on their specialty!
To be clear, I always wanted to pursue something adjacent to this. I'm just going back to form. My circumstances and some ill-informed choices (I did not have access to crucial information) prevented me from taking this career direction sooner, but I have no regrets over my previous training.
I still don't think my current proposal is quite "it", though. When the idea first came to mind, I felt like a light bulb suddenly lit up in my head. I'll need to write at least 2-3 more proposals, just to cover all my bases.
Thank you very much! I have no idea there was another website; I'll give that one a try (I used BSF for a hobby feed.)
Hello! Hope you don't mind me replying here. You can still make your own lists here! Feeds are more curated by the people who run them. They normally require (for now) some programming knowledge to set-up, but BlueSkyFeeds.com allows people to make their own feeds without the technical know-how.
It boggles me personally why recommendations within geographically contiguous (or at least proximal) countries or islands can vary widely. Recommendations seem to vary by country, irrespective of their geography. I can see a potential area for research, given the burden of influenza in the region.
The Philippines, whose southern islands are in close proximity to Borneo, is part of the Tropical Asia vaccination zone (alongside most of Mainland Southeast Asia and Timor-Leste.) In spite of being latitudinally above Malaysia and Indonesia, the Southern formulation is recommended in this zone.
Forgot to indicate that Singapore is in the Equatorial Asia zone, dissimilar to Malaya (and the rest of the Malaysian Federation) being "year-round" influenza zones. It's apparent to me that the WHO guidelines are delineated by countries, rather than geography. Is it due of a dearth of studies?
