Mozart was famously financially insecure, and survived to compose due to his patrons, like Gottfried van Swieten, who was vastly poorer than Musk or Bezos If Bezos or Musk wanted to become a patron of the arts, they could fund tens of thousands of modern potential Mozarts. They just don't want to.

It kills me because I know those Mozarts are out there, and none of them get a sliver of support from the system or society we're in and eventually get forced out of music entirely just to survive

They'd actually have to value the arts and humanities to want to do this, though. And that comes with training in thinking, and man...that's a real problem.
