Starting over is hard. And some of my old neighbours don’t want to come over anymore. That’s fine. But I find each new neighbourhood changes me. I don’t want to hang out with some old neighbours anymore either. I like some new people. I miss some who didn’t move at all.

It’s hard to pick up and move. But we do it when we have to. I had to. I am trying to make a home here, in this townhouse. Hanging pictures of my cats, sharing weird music, attending neighbourhood mixers. I’m trying to make a home.
