The Mobile Cannon, as well as other gimmicks like "throwables" or boards, scale differently from the usual damage in this game. They ignore any sources of potency multipliers but respect Battle Power, potency floor, and the base ATK of your character and weapon.

Since potency cannot be increased through augmentation etc., it is recommended to repurpose these enhancements to improve your potency floor and remove the damage variance from your Mobile Cannon. This will result in a significant increase in DPS. Currently, this is a cost-effective improvement.
