there’s a mom on the train with two young kids, both crying. tough-looking dude gets on (buff, dirty shirt, welding mask in tow). he seems engrossed in his music but then hears the kids. reaches into his backpack, takes out two lollipops and — stone faced — hands them to the mom. crying stops!
Delighted to hear I am not the only New Yorker who carries a supply of emergency lollipops.
What did you learn about B2B sales from that?
Jeez, humanity in action 🎬
A kind stranger once paid a bribe for me and my friend on train at the border between Austria and then-Czechoslovakia without even getting up from the train seats he was lying across, trying to get some sleep.
There was a guy who worked overnights at the gas station that backed our alley. He handed me a candy every time I walked by with a stroller. That alley and all creatures within it were under his cheerful protection.
Moral of the story: Take candy from strangers.
The ghost of Telly Savalas was on the train?
Gotta love a guy who carries lollipop in self-defense! 😄
Beautiful. Also made the trip better for everyone! 💕
That dude was prepared!
