I bought a new phone & fancy doo-dads to make it TV-ready just to play FANTASIAN a few years ago. No regrets. I still consider it my favorite RPG of the past five years—and it has real competition! If you love early Final Fantasy & Uematsu's work, you owe it to yourselves to grab this on consoles.

The gaming historian in me is fascinated by the Game Freak leak. ...But the overwhelming feeling I have from All This™ is one of dread/sadness. Everything gained because of theft that exposes the personal information of employees, etc...it isn't "gained", really. The *consequences* will be worse.

I got the LEGO Super Mario World set, and the manual had the nerve, the AUDACITY, to call Yoshi a “dragon” when WE ALL KNOW he hails from *Dinosaur Land.*

Having rolled credits on Echoes of Wisdom just now, I'm sitting here thinking—it and Achromi's Master Key are a perfect pair. I'm incredulous both came out in the same year. I feel similarly about both games for different reasons. SO much love—& ample disappointment as well. Still, I'm so happy.
The more I think about & play Echoes of Wisdom, the more I desperately wish Nintendo & the Zelda team would've made a game where Link just straight up *is not in it* & never appears. It would force them to make a game where she doesn't have to frickin' don a green tunic to fight with a sword.
