Or that I’d STILL fancy Robin Ray? I’d told my family about the dummy keyboard round, but nothing prepared them for the reality - actual footage below
Just seen my mum - staying with her grandson in London - who at 94 has just had her first Uber and her first Deliveroo.
That’s a great red, really suits you
Wasn’t Francesca Annis divine? Confess though it brought back memories of a dire family party when my aunt had decided that 6 family members would play it, she’d already written the fake definitions for them. Agony for the rest of us, and seemed interminable to me aged 8.
Agree the calmer presentation is good to see compared to today’s shiny floor shows. But I think all three reawaken for me the terrible irritable boredom I used to feel when there was a grown-ups’ programme on (am a bit younger than you). Mastermind still does it to me… Get to the Two Ronnies!
Isn’t it incredibly SLOW though?! We ended up watching Call My Bluff and Face the Music the other night too. I’d warned husband about the funny keyboard but he was still taken aback by it - bizarre TV. Impressed by my knowledge of Robin Ray’s family connections though.
Blockbuster films have taken less time to shoot! Didn’t you love NF’s flat?
So glad to find someone else watching! Can only be a matter of weeks now til Paul Merroney arrives….
Why did she show her bottom teeth when she was being extra flirtatious? And I had much to say about a fashion photographer being based in a haulage company for WEEKS to take photos for presumably a pretty straightforward B2B promotion.
