It's ok to feel sad about it. It is genuinely sad. Twitter is where I met my wife, the love of my life and the mother of my children. Now that Twitter is dying, I have no way to contact these three.

i keep a separate family on each new social media site

I send half of my monthly retweets to my wife and eleven sons. They live in the motherland, where content is scarce and engagement cannot be found. After twitter is gone they will have nothing.
