Fledgling Ospreys can get into so much trouble. Today's adventure - a couple out sailing netted this one in the middle of a river in Baltimore county. It rode back to the marina with them in their tender. I approached it, and the bird fell right back into the water, so I netted it. #ospreyrescue

One of the finders was brave enough to wipe the osprey down, to remove most of the water for the trip up to #phoenixwildlifecenter where it is being evaluated. It most likely was learning to fly, ran out of energy and landed in the water.
