They've changed for the worse, but let's not gloss over the fact they've always been adversarial to the people and ineffective at whatever purpose it is they're supposed to serve.

Do they have any purpose at all anymore? Other than extraction of money for themselves and the government via asset forfeiture. Using their SWAT toys for delivering warrants to the wrong homes with no repercussions? I get so tired of them stating they have a dangerous job.

They serve the downtown merchant's association and protect property. Always have, always will. #ACAB
