Psychiatrist here: wholly concur. Fascists' obsession with *projections* of power is their reaction formation defense mechanism against their all-consuming sense of inadequacy & impotence. Reaction formation as a defense mechanism is almost as brittle as denial. Target them where it hurts the most.
