The US Supreme Court needs ethics rules like those governing me… a teacher. Any gift or benefit of value over $50 needs to be publicly reported. They need to recuse themselves when any potential conflict of interest exists. Confidence in the courts requires no conflict above a reasonable doubt.

It should not be allowed. SCOTUS Justices are to rule based on the law, not personal beliefs & party affiliation. The American taxpayers pay their salaries. They rule on how we can live, yet six of them consider themselves above the law & believe there should be no checks & balances to rein them in.
