Maybe, tho not quite sure I follow; I think that’s just admin trying to optimize earnings and reflects the business-ification of colleges. They’re doing that in any field they can. E.g.: online nursing degrees (side note: I do not want any heath care professionals trained online, good god).
This may be true but English/writing professors are a big exception. Most English grad students teach freshman comp, most comp programs run pedagogy bootcamps. Most English grad students also solo teach courses thru-out their degree programs. I had 6 yrs teaching experience when I finished my PhD.

I would really love to talk about how the voucher program in Indiana is used almost exclusively to subsidize religious schools. Hi. The Catholic Church doesn’t need taxpayer money and I also want a school that is not failing for my kids.
A fun facet of contemporary parenting is the 3-5 random “elearning days” that pop up for every snow day, every parent teacher conference day, some random Tuesday in February, etc. Just give them the days off!
