With the latest Bluesky rollout, your skeets are now visible to anyone on the web. If you want to change this, you need to go to the Moderation tab in user settings and, confusingly, toggle the “Logged-out visibility” button ON.

That doesn't make your skeets private though, they would still be visible to anyone on the web using other apps.
