Oh I haven't heard of this book! I am adding it to my reading list rn. And yes this seems in line with my experience and observations from other educators who teach drawing to adults. Getting people to break out of that unconscious resistence/fear is a pretty big task.

Tbf the book IS aimed at teaching comics in schools, but I picked it up because a lot of the concepts should still be applicable to teaching adults!
