Put together a new bookshelf over the weekend and I’m pretty excited to be organizing it now! Here’s the first complete shelf, I think it looks pretty snazzy :)

Upright Women Wanted by Sarah Gailey is fun and gay fiction (if your idea of fun is western outlaw librarians)!

Tbf the book IS aimed at teaching comics in schools, but I picked it up because a lot of the concepts should still be applicable to teaching adults!

This is really relevant to me right now! I’m reading Hacking Graphic Novels by Shveta V. Miller and so much of the book is dedicated to getting other adults on board before it could even begin to talk about close reading and analysis strategies for comics.
