Instagram has ~ 500 million? DAUs that it's pushing to Threads, so it's gonna be very hard to compete with that in any sustainable way in the short-term, but Bluesky will win in the long-term imo, it's just a far better user experience than Threads, people will switch between and end up Bluesky
the previous spike was the whole brazil thing, and it's interesting that Threads seemingly wasn't affected by that at all. bluesky really is the "twitter replacement"

Threads was meant to be a Meta version of Twitter. But I do feel the only one I’m witnessing that’s actually doing a better job here is Bluesky.
