The infographic "Decoding the Free News User" examines why free users of news websites, who don't pay for content, might consider subscribing. It covers insights from nine Indian languages, highlighting diverse user motivations. Key reasons include convenience, such as offline access and breaking news alerts, and the desire for an ad-free, clean reading experience. Users are also drawn to saving time with reliable, fact-checked news in one place, supporting independent journalism, accessing exclusive content, flexible payment options, and personalized experiences like curated news feeds. These factors show how linguistic and regional differences shape user preferences for paid news.
