I was just looking up something on Google maps. By chance, I noticed someone who looks like Robert Crumb, the cartoonist, walking down a street in several shots. In one, he stands aside to let the Google van pass. I did some research and discovered it *is* Robert Crumb outside his house.

Sounds like the face blurring they promised to do to protect people's privacy needs some work.

I love the things that one can stumble across on the google maps... Some years ago, I happened to spot that the cameral van had passed as I was washing my car. I'm sure many nefarious goings-on have been recorded with fuzzed-out faces too...
