Nice looking proofs in the post this week including someone I should have read at some stage (Willy Vlautin), some great looking new short stories in translation (Maria Bastaros), one that sounds fascinating (Neel Mukhergee), something new from one of my favourite publishers (Maggie Armstrong)...

..., one from an author that always goes to the top of the pile (Kevin Barry), and one I honestly was drawn to because the cover is gorgeous (Kerry Andrew). The TBR heaves even further...

Willy is great - Motel Life still his best for me. Like his others but got so the novels were just expanded versions of old Richmond Fontaine songs so kinda felt like i always knew what was coming next, as well-written as they are.
