Absolutely no issue with student loans increasing IF AND ONLY IF interest is 0%. The idea fees havenāt kept up with inflation is bollocks as interest has.
As for whether or not you could tell if a co-worker has been replaced by an AI. Well thatās just the Turing test. The major flaw of which is that it ask if a computer could trick a human into believing the computer is human. It never addresses if the humans, deserves, wants or should be lied to.
Obviously I not saying people should have beloved memories ripped away from them. But there is a question about how much it is healthy to cling onto realities that donāt exist.
Itās may seem trivial but look at how some people react to things like Star Wars being changed. People assume thatās just a nerdy thing to do. But itās because nostalgia and memories contribute to some sense of reality. Learning to accept change (or death) is a part of life.
I found the dead relative one particularly sinister because it appeal to a fundamental human emotional response. Because of which it seems like it makes sense. But it doesnāt ask the ethical or psychological questions of the purpose or functions of grief.

Today already Iāve seen two news stories, one about AI replacing your co-workers and one about AI replacing your dead relatives. Something that should mostly be used for spreadsheets probably shouldnāt do these things. *taps sign*
