the amount of executive function that is required to get the medications that will supposedly help with my executive function is a cruel joke
Last week my doctors office sent in a refill that was completely incorrect & then argued w/me before they finally called my pharmacist who let them have it. I sucked @ Chemistry but even I know that slight differentials in names = different ingredients & this one made everything worse.
Not to mention the medical training required to determine the interactions between those medications.

“Sorry, your insurer won’t accept prescriptions from a telehealth provider. You’d need to find a new psychiatrist and see them in person.”

Man, do I worry about my daughters when they're old enough to be responsible for their own prescriptions.
You're a few years younger and a couple steps ahead of me. Keep at it! I'm still filling out forms to get a doc to talk to me
ADHD meds are fun like that. Lots of extra hoops to jump through because they'd much rather inconvenience anyone who needs them just to prevent one person getting them who doesn't. Which usually fails anyway, but can't be changed because reasons.
...and then I feel guilty for annoying the pharmacy and the doctor.
It’s one of the hardest things to get done.
