I’ve tried to share first-hand knowledge of the FEMA programs, the efforts of the Air National Guard and other govt agencies and the sheer scope of the disaster with naysayers on social media and they don’t want to hear the truth. A sizable group of people in this country are just hopelessly broken.

One of the useful things the 1/6 prosecutions accomplished was breaking up the coordination abilities of the Proud Boys. This has all the makings of what *would* have been a particularly vicious riot, had the Proud Boys not gotten busy (correctly) accusing each other of snitching on each other
