If anyone said the phrase "emotional salary" to me, I would simply start throwing things at them

The best example of this is remote work. Nothing a company can do would increase employee morale as much as reducing or eliminating employees' commute. Nevertheless, companies are forcing people back to the office even though this is more expensive and makes workers less productive
