As much as I have my opinions, this article and the study behind it (2 page marketing PDF) are very thin, just as much clickbait as pro AI marketing hype articles I'd love to see a decent study that did analyse delivery throughput, bug count etc, as this one attests to www.cio.com/article/3540...

Scaling up and shaping up large language models increased their tendency to provide sensible yet incorrect answers at difficulty levels humans cannot supervise, highlighting the need for a shift in AI design towards reliability, according to a paper in Nature. go.nature.com/4eCAnis 🧪

Investing in renewables is a good thing. AI model energy consumption, which is resulting increased use of fossil fuels, and generally increasing overall demand in the energy market, is not.

It's unlikely everyone will be racing to upgrade their phones (just us oldies perhaps). I've bought 2nd hand phones for my last 2 devices and only had to upgrade cos the OEM no longer supported the device
