This is genius. I’m guessing a utility likePG&E can get on board with this because they are already diversified, but other less “blue trifecta” states will have a hell of a time copying it. Also it still doesn’t solve the rate base death spiral for gas-only utilities.

Perhaps the first order of legislative business everywhere should be to consolidate gas utilities with electric utilities? Any downsides there?
