On recent acts of fury over gender and race by the usual suspects.
Small quite funny typo: "must have sax with trans women". Now, my 86 Yr old bicycling Uncle who also played sax in a jazz/funk band until he was 80 (and yes, I love him very much as you can tell) might be able to fit in training one or two trans women to play, but some other volunteers are needed.

Robin! The speed of hate is a great title. One question my book (2025, trans history in interwar period) asks is ‘how do we begin to hate’ but the speed is such a part of it.

I'm equally ill-suited to comment on these arguments, but in the recent cases, 'speed' is central to how far hatred can spiral before meeting any kind of corrective facts. It's not unreasonable to spend a couple of hours assessing situations as fraught as these, but now that's too long....
