(Whew, though, neither those load times nor the IJKM arrow keys made it to the fond memories.)

Did some LabVIEW work last month for the first time in years. LabVIEW coding always reminds me of being ~7 and playing Rocky's Boots, an educational game about logic gates that was still somehow really fun, on our ancient PC. God bless the Internet Archive, where it's playable online in an emulator:

Quaker Steak & Lube Pennsylvania Premium Garlic (kind of like a spicy, concentrated Italian dressing), which is sadly a Discontinued Food. Their Arizona Ranch sauce is a runner up, though.

And if you love NASA aircraft as much as I do, please enjoy this video about the ER-2, featuring amazing cockpit views from not-quite-space.

air-LUSI measures the moon's spectral irradiance. Because it flies above 90% of the atmosphere in the wing pod of a NASA ER-2 (civilian U-2 variant), it can take better measurements than Earth-based instruments, which will result in better calibrations for satellites that study Earth.

Sorry I've been even quieter than usual the last week or so--I'll be joining the Airborne Lunar Spectral Irradiance (air-LUSI) team for their campaign of flights this December and I'm currently busy at the National Institute of Standards and Technology helping them get ready!

Alt: Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect, with the text "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."

I'm very fond of Shore Leave, although their current cocktail menu (at least as of about a month ago) isn't my favorite iteration.

I heard suspects in Robbery #5 include Angela, Pamela, Sandra, and Rita.
