This doesn't impact me for the most part, I switched to other software years ago, but it really feels like it reflects the current push from ownership to a rental market. Also that if software phones home at *all*, you never really own it.

Along with other suggestions already made, I like to keep pouches of tuna around for snow emergencies. Lighter and pack better than cans if you need to evacuate. Just stir some shelf stable mayo packs into the pouch for tuna salad and scoop onto crackers for a pretty decent protein/fat/carb combo

Also since FA does sequential submission numbering (which is itself a Bad Idea), we can tell that the newest submission on that list was about 5 months ago. The oldest, 3 years. Which makes it pretty damn clear they're targeting users they want to ban first, and then going digging for 'violations'
