Sure. But it has a restricted product range. And some Aldi products are rubbish. Ask Choice! www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...
Consumer group looked at 14 common groceries including apples, sliced bread, flour, tinned tomatoes, cheese and milk
Is it too much to ask not to be gouged on the food we need to survive? At least the Greens are thinking about this. "The price of 30 basic essentials such as bread, milk and nappies would be capped, with increases tied to wages, under a new policy to be announced by the Queensland Greens".
Aldi is not always accessible and it's not always cheaper. The govt needs to take real action on the cost of living instead of trying out different sized bandaids.
And some are staples in my home and the produce prices rock. Also these apple frangipane tarts are amazing
Yeah, this is the thing that gets me. I'm already time poor as it is, having to do a second shop at Aldi in addition to my Colesworth shop isn't especially practical, let alone with the added mental load of keeping track of which items are the ones I should be buying at each store
I find it a weird article to even bother writing. We all know it’s cheaper, but that’s not a solution. Write about regional areas that are impacted by the duopology.
