With the trans healthcare for trans youth being under attack so much ive been thinking a lot about my own experiences at The Dutch Clinic and how even though the dutch system is more or less as good as it gets for trans care it still left me basically a bit traumatised by some of it
I always talk about The Dutch Clinic as basically being like the uk gic system but it actually works. But even when it doesnt let people rot on waiting lists the pathologising and objectifying and denial of agency still make this cis led trans care cruel and damaging
