Getting suspicious that the reason the world is so bad for everyone right now is because we all ignored the chain emails in 2005 & didn't forward them to 10 of our closest friends.

It could be my fault too. This brilliant exchange with my kid happened not long after she got her first phone, somewhere in the 2010s.

I didn't ignore the ones I read because I had OCD and didn't know it yet. Sure didn't help my luck any.
