Gaming chairs are truly the fondant cakes of the desktop chair world. They look extremely cool but once you sit down in one for any length of time, you quickly find out that they taste horrible (and destroy your back).

I invested in a proper office chair. It cost a pretty penny, but was so worth it.

Ah, so they're like the chair equivalent of Blue Yetis.

Turns out that the seat most people need for sitting at a desk for long hours is wildly different than the seat they need in a really fast car. A core belief of mine is that people should have good chairs.

I took the entire back off of mine and my back pain improved. I removed half the chair and it was a better chair. ;/

I got a Secretlab, not knowing it was the exact kind of gamer chair everyone is complaining about. Strangely enough it works well for me, even if I don't care much for looks. All I wanted was something I didn't have to toss after two years

And this is why I prefer an Ergonomic Chair, not a gaming chair lookin' chair *cough... cough, cough, cough* Secret Labs
