I spent an age in Mikado last year playing Daytona USA until my arm ached from the force feedback wheel :) There's another good retro arcade in Akihabara called 'HEY" maps.app.goo.gl/CViTuYjbPhVn... - a lot of the machines have multiple games from a series and you can pay using SUICA.

Don't see Quiet as a Stone mentioned very often at all so this is a pleasant surprise. Especially as I was actually working on it today.
Had some some (strange, commercially unsound, obscure) ideas for a Quiet as a Stone update recently. They might just linger in my notebook for ever... but they don't seem -too- difficult to implement now I have the project working in Unity 6.

Here's (a somewhat indulgent) mega-set taken during my time living and studying in Tokyo from October 2023 to early January of 2024. Also inc photos from nearby locations - Yokohama, Mount Takao and Kamakura. Mainly Fuji X100F and iPhone 13 Pro using Halide. richardwhitelock.com/articles/pho...
I recently added many photos (no, really a lot!) from my time living and studying in Japan for six months recently. A gallery of photos taken during my stay in Kyoto. (Inc a few photos from Gunma Prefecture, Fuji and Tokyo too.) richardwhitelock.com/articles/pho...
So far I have some writeups and art dumps from games I worked on in the past such as Frozen Synapse 2 and Frozen Cortex which were two very different projects from an art production standpoint. richardwhitelock.com/articles/fro...richardwhitelock.com/articles/fro...
