Yep, but not surprising as the whole process has been bonkers. We weren’t even told who the publisher was until a month or so ago.
I was just given three weeks to complete revisions on a book chapter I submitted FOUR years ago. I wish I was exaggerating.
Oh that beautiful, beautiful feeling when you start the morning thinking “I just simply can’t do another revision of this intro” and arrive at lunchtime going “I figured this shit out!”
