Wikipedia lists the cat species as it's example of obligated carnivores FFS. If you want a vegan pet, get a tortoise or something. Not that they deserve pets.

One of my mutuals got into a heated argument with a guy on Twitter because said guy said that you can convert predators to vegan diets because pandas are posted as Carnivora and they eat bamboo. I told him that's not how it works.

Yeah that sort of person, they seem to only want a pet as a way to bring attention to themselves
