I often wonder how much literature was lost to time in this same way. That said these concerns about digital distribution are likely only going to complicate maters esp since games can be remotely wiped and making backups is still taboo

People mock us for re-releasing Skyrim but I’d much rather have it be available forever than lost to time. (Morrowind and Oblivion are still available too!)
